Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 pound ground beef or chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Instructions
 

Cook the Meat

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add ground beef or chicken. Cook until browned and fully cooked through.

Add Seasoning

  • Add paprika, cumin, salt and pepper. Stir well and cook for a few minutes to develop flavor.

Prepare Baking Tray

  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Spread tortilla chips evenly on a baking tray in a single layer.

Add First Layer

  • Sprinkle some cheese and cooked meat over chips. This ensures every bite has flavor.

Add Second Layer

  • Add another layer of chips. Top again with cheese and meat for even distribution.

Bake the Nachos

  • Place tray in oven. Bake for 8–10 minutes until cheese melts and becomes bubbly.
