Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces jarred pimentos chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: a pinch of cayenne for spice

Instructions
 

Shred the Cheese

  • Grate the cheddar cheese until soft and fluffy.

Chop the Pimentos

  • Drain pimentos and cut them into small pieces.

Mix Cheese and Mayonnaise

  • Put cheese in a bowl. Add mayonnaise and stir until creamy.

Add Spices

  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Add Pimentos

  • Fold in the chopped pimentos evenly into the cheese mixture.

Taste and Adjust

  • Taste your cheese. Add more salt or pepper if needed.

Chill Before Serving

  • Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. This makes flavors better.
