Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil optional for extra crispiness
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving

Instructions

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare Cauliflower

  • Wash cauliflower and cut into bite-sized florets. Make sure pieces are similar in size for even cooking.

Make the Batter

  • In a large bowl, whisk flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth and lump-free.

Coat Cauliflower

  • Dip each floret into the batter, making sure it is fully coated. Shake off extra batter gently.

Bake the Cauliflower

  • Place coated florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 20 minutes.

Prepare Buffalo Sauce

  • While baking, warm buffalo sauce in a small bowl. Add olive oil if you like extra crispiness.

Toss Cauliflower in Sauce

  • After baking, remove cauliflower and toss in buffalo sauce until evenly coated.

Bake Again

  • Return coated cauliflower to the baking sheet. Bake for another 5–10 minutes for crisp edges.

Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle chopped parsley over bites. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Enjoy Your Snack

  • Serve warm. Buffalo Cauliflower Bites are perfect for parties, snacks, or game day.

Notes

  • Use gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version.
  • Add cayenne pepper for extra heat in the batter.
  • Try air-frying instead of baking for crispier bites.
  • Use homemade buffalo sauce for better flavor and less sodium.
  • Garnish with green onions or cilantro instead of parsley.
