Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound cheese tortellini
  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Tortellini

  • Boil tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook beef until browned. Remove and set aside.

Cook Vegetables

  • In the same skillet, cook peppers and onions until soft.

Add Garlic

  • Stir in garlic and cook for one minute.

Make the Sauce

  • Melt butter in a pan. Add flour and whisk for one minute.

Add Milk and Cream

  • Slowly whisk in milk and heavy cream until smooth.

Add Cheese

  • Stir in shredded provolone until melted and creamy.

Season the Sauce

  • Add salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

Combine Everything

  • Add beef, vegetables and tortellini into the sauce.

Stir and Serve

  • Mix gently until everything is coated. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
