Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 9 cooked lasagna noodles
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Ground Beef

  • Cook the ground beef in a skillet on medium heat. Stir until the meat turns brown.

Add Onion and Spices

  • Add the onion and all the spices. Mix well so the flavors blend nicely.

Pour in Tomato Sauce

  • Pour the tomato sauce into the skillet. Let it cook for a few minutes until it thickens.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture

  • In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth.

Boil the Lasagna Noodles

  • Cook the noodles in hot water until soft. Drain and set them aside carefully.

Spread Meat Sauce in Baking Dish

  • Place a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.

Add First Layer of Noodles

  • Lay three noodles on top of the sauce. Keep them straight and slightly overlapping.

Add Cheese Mixture

  • Spread some cheese mixture on the noodles. Cover the noodles well.

Add More Sauce

  • Pour more meat sauce on top of the cheese layer. Spread it evenly.

Repeat the Layers

  • Repeat the noodles, cheese, and sauce until all ingredients are used.

Add Extra Cheese on Top

  • Sprinkle extra mozzarella and parmesan on top for a golden crust.

Bake the Lasagna

  • Bake at 180°C or 350°F for 30–35 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Let It Cool

  • Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes. This helps it stay firm.

Slice and Serve

  • Cut into neat squares. Serve warm with parsley on top.
