Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups fresh snap peas trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon chili crisp
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

Wash the Snap Peas

  • Rinse snap peas under cold water. Trim the ends and remove any tough strings.

Blanch Quickly

  • Boil water in a pot. Add snap peas and cook for one to two minutes only.

Cool the Peas

  • Drain peas and place them in cold water. This keeps them bright green and crisp.

Prepare the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, mix chili crisp, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil and minced garlic.

Drain Well

  • Remove snap peas from cold water. Drain them completely using a colander.

Combine Everything

  • Place snap peas in a large bowl. Pour the dressing evenly over the peas.

Toss Gently

  • Mix gently using a spoon. Make sure each snap pea is coated with the dressing.

Add Toppings

  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the salad. Add a small pinch of salt.

Taste and Adjust

  • Taste the salad carefully. Add more chili crisp if you want extra spice.

  • Transfer salad to a serving bowl. Serve immediately for the best crunch and flavor.
