Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C or 350°F. Line the baking pan with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Mix well and set aside.

Mix Butter and Sugar

  • In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth and creamy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla

  • Add eggs one at a time. Mix well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.

Add Peanut Butter

  • Warm peanut butter slightly. Add to the mixture and stir until smooth and fully combined.

Combine Dry and Wet

  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Stir gently until no dry flour remains.

Add Chocolate Chips

  • Fold chocolate chips into the batter evenly. Do not overmix.

Pour into Pan

  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake the Cake

  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. The center should look slightly soft but not wet.

Cool Before Slicing

  • Remove from oven and cool completely. Slice into squares once fully set.

Notes

  • Do not overbake for chewy texture.
  • Add chopped peanuts for crunch.
  • Swirl extra peanut butter on top before baking.
  • Use dark chocolate chips for deeper flavor.
