Ingredients
  

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked sausage or pepperoni
  • ½ cup bell peppers chopped
  • ¼ cup onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Grease baking dish with oil. Prepare your workspace for easy cooking.

Chop the biscuits

  • Cut biscuits into small pieces. Keep sizes even for equal baking.

Prepare vegetables

  • Chop onions and peppers finely. Smaller pieces cook faster and mix better.

Mix biscuit pieces

  • Place biscuits in bowl. Add olive oil. Toss gently to coat.

Add sauce and spices

  • Add pizza sauce, garlic powder, pepper and Italian seasoning. Mix well.

Add fillings

  • Add sausage, pepperoni, onions and peppers. Stir until evenly mixed.

Add cheese

  • Fold in mozzarella and cheddar cheese gently. Save some for topping.

Transfer to dish

  • Pour mixture into baking dish. Spread evenly with spoon.

Add extra cheese

  • Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Cover with foil loosely.

Bake casserole

  • Bake for 20 minutes covered. Remove foil and bake 10 more minutes.

Cool slightly

  • Remove from oven. Let rest five minutes before serving.
