  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp white vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Fresh parsley or chives for decoration

Instructions

Boil the Eggs

  • Place eggs in a saucepan. Cover with water. Bring to boil, then simmer ten minutes for firm yolks.

Cool the Eggs

  • Remove eggs from water. Place in ice bath for five minutes to stop cooking.

Peel the Eggs

  • Gently crack the shell and peel off all pieces. Be careful to keep egg shape intact.

Slice the Eggs

  • Cut eggs in half lengthwise. Scoop yolks carefully into a mixing bowl.

Prepare the Filling

  • Mash yolks with a fork. Add mayonnaise, mustard, and vinegar. Mix until creamy and smooth.

Season the Filling

  • Add salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning for a flavorful and balanced filling.

Fill the Egg Whites

  • Spoon or pipe yolk mixture into egg white halves. Fill neatly without spilling over edges.
  • Garnish the Eggs
  • Sprinkle paprika on top. Add parsley or chopped chives for a fresh, colorful touch.

Arrange on Platter

  • Place filled eggs on a serving platter. Arrange in neat rows or circular patterns for presentation.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes. Enjoy creamy, tangy deviled eggs with family and friends.

Notes

  • Use a piping bag for a professional-looking filling.
  • Add pickles, relish, or capers for tangy flavor variations.
  • For spicy deviled eggs, mix in a small amount of hot sauce or cayenne pepper.
  • Make ahead of time: fill eggs and refrigerate up to 4 hours before serving.
  • Garnish creatively with smoked paprika, bacon bits, or sliced olives.
