Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for coating

Instructions
 

Mix Sugar and Oil

  • Add sugar and oil to a bowl. Whisk well until smooth and shiny.

Add Eggs and Vanilla

  • Crack eggs into the bowl. Add vanilla. Whisk until light and creamy.

Add Cocoa Powder

  • Add cocoa powder slowly. Mix well until thick and dark.

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt until combined.

Combine Wet and Dry

  • Add dry mix to wet mix. Stir gently until thick dough forms.

Add Chocolate Chips

  • Fold chocolate chips into the dough evenly using a spatula.

Chill the Dough

  • Cover the bowl. Chill dough in fridge for 30 minutes for best results.

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat oven to 175°C. Line baking tray with parchment paper.

Shape the Cookies

  • Scoop dough. Roll into balls using clean hands.

Coat with Sugar

  • Roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully covered.

Place on Tray

  • Place balls on tray with space between each cookie.

Bake the Cookies
