  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • Optional: a slice of lemon

Instructions

Heat the Water

  • Boil one cup of water on the stove until hot and steaming but not too strong or boiling hard.

Prepare the Fresh Ginger

  • Grate fresh ginger using a fine grater to release its strong flavor and warm oils completely.

Add Ginger to Hot Water

  • Place the grated ginger in a cup and slowly pour the hot water over it to blend the flavor.

Add Lemon Juice

  • Add fresh lemon juice to the tea to give a bright, refreshing taste and boost vitamin C.

Mix in Honey

  • Add honey and stir well until it melts. This adds sweetness and helps soothe your throat.

Add Turmeric Powder

  • Add turmeric powder and mix well. Turmeric gives color, healing benefits, and warmth.

Sprinkle Cinnamon

  • Sprinkle cinnamon to add deep flavor, sweetness, and a pleasant warm scent to the tea.

Add Black Pepper

  • Add a pinch of black pepper. This helps your body absorb turmeric better and increases the benefits.

Stir Everything Well

  • Stir slowly until all ingredients blend and the tea becomes bright golden and smooth.

Strain and Serve

  • Strain the tea to remove ginger pieces if you want a smoother drink. Serve warm and enjoy.
