  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Optional Additions

  • Diced cucumber
  • Chopped red bell pepper
  • Dried cranberries

Instructions
 

Heat The Broth

  • Bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a gentle boil in a saucepan.

Add The Couscous

  • Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the couscous.

Cover And Rest

  • Cover the pan and let the couscous sit for about five minutes.

Fluff The Couscous

  • Use a fork to separate the grains until light and fluffy.

Bloom The Spices
