Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped maraschino cherries well drained
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

Prepare the Pan

  • Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper. Leave edges hanging for easy removal later.

Melt the Chocolate

  • Add chocolate chips, butter, and condensed milk to a saucepan. Heat on low, stirring slowly.

Create Smooth Mixture

  • Stir constantly until chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Do not boil the mixture.

Add Vanilla and Salt

  • Remove pan from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and a small pinch of salt.

Prepare the Cherries

  • Chop cherries into small pieces. Pat dry using paper towels to remove extra moisture.

Fold in Cherries

  • Add chopped cherries to the chocolate mixture. Stir gently until evenly mixed.

Add Mini Chocolate Chips

  • Fold in mini chocolate chips for extra texture and flavor.

Pour into Pan

  • Pour fudge mixture into prepared pan. Spread evenly using a spatula.

Chill the Fudge

  • Place pan in refrigerator. Chill for at least 2 hours until fully firm.

Cut and Serve
