Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles
  • 1 cup crushed crackers
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish to prevent sticking during baking process later.

Prepare the Chicken

  • Shred cooked chicken into small pieces. Rotisserie chicken works perfectly and saves cooking time for busy family dinners.

Mix the Sauce

  • Combine cream soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper inside large bowl until creamy.

Add Chicken and Noodles

  • Add shredded chicken and cooked noodles into sauce mixture. Stir gently until everything becomes evenly coated and combined.

Add the Cheese

  • Mix shredded cheddar cheese into casserole filling. Reserve little cheese for topping before baking inside oven until golden.

Transfer to Baking Dish

  • Spread casserole mixture evenly inside prepared baking dish. Smooth the top gently using spoon or spatula before topping.

Prepare the Topping

  • Mix crushed crackers with melted butter inside small bowl. Stir well until crumbs become buttery and slightly moist.
