Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves or 2 tablespoons dried leaves
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional
  • 2 lemon slices optional

Instructions
 

Rinse the Lemon Balm Leaves

  • Wash the lemon balm leaves well. Remove any dirt or bad parts.

Boil the Water in a Pot

  • Pour clean water into a small pot. Heat until it boils.

Add the Leaves to the Hot Water

  • Turn off the heat. Add the fresh or dried leaves and stir lightly.

Cover and Steep the Leaves

  • Cover the pot. Let the leaves steep for 10 minutes to release flavor.

Strain the Lemon Balm Water

  • Use a strainer to remove the leaves. Pour the water into a cup or jar.

Add Honey or Lemon Slice

  • Add honey or lemon slices if you want more taste.
