Ingredients

  • 1 cup ripe mango puree
  • 1 cup crushed biscuits or graham crackers
  • ½ cup condensed milk
  • ½ cup desiccated coconut
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Extra coconut for coating
  • Chopped nuts optional

Instructions

Prepare mango puree

  • Blend fresh ripe mangoes until smooth. Make sure no chunks remain for a creamy texture.

Crush biscuits

  • Crush biscuits into fine crumbs using a blender or rolling pin. This forms the truffle base.

Mix wet ingredients

  • Add mango puree, condensed milk and melted butter in a bowl. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Add dry ingredients

  • Mix in biscuit crumbs and vanilla extract. Combine everything until thick dough forms.

Check consistency

  • The mixture should be soft but not sticky. Add more crumbs if it feels too wet.

Chill mixture

  • Refrigerate the mixture for 20 minutes. This makes shaping the truffles much easier.

Shape truffles

  • Take small portions and roll into balls. Keep size even for uniform presentation.

Coat truffles

  • Roll each ball in desiccated coconut or chopped nuts. Coat evenly for best texture.

Set again

  • Place truffles on a tray. Chill for another 20 minutes to firm them properly.

Serve chilled

  • Serve cold for best taste. Enjoy soft mango flavor in every bite.

Notes

  • Use Alphonso mangoes for rich flavor.
  • Add white chocolate for extra sweetness.
  • Use almond powder instead of biscuits.
  • Chill longer for firmer texture.
  • Add cardamom for Indian-style aroma.
