Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup cooked peas
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon crumbled
  • ½ cup red onion finely chopped

For the dressing:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare vegetables

  • Wash and chop lettuce, celery, bell peppers and onion into small pieces.

Start layering

  • Add lettuce as the first layer in a large glass bowl.

Add peas

  • Spread cooked peas evenly over the lettuce layer.

Add vegetables

  • Layer celery, bell peppers and onion one by one.

Add cheese

  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the vegetables.

Prepare dressing

  • Mix mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper until smooth.

Add dressing layer

  • Spread dressing evenly on top without mixing layers.

Add bacon

  • Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the dressing.

Chill the salad

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Serve fresh

  • Serve chilled and mix slightly before eating.
