Ingredients
  

For Apple Filling:

  • 5 apples peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

For Crisp Topping:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish lightly to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Apples

  • Peel and slice apples evenly. Place them in a large bowl for mixing.

Add Flavor to Apples

  • Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice. Mix well until apples are coated evenly.

Transfer to Baking Dish

  • Pour the apple mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly for uniform cooking.

Prepare the Topping

  • In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar and salt. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly.

Add Topping

  • Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples. Cover the entire surface for a crispy finish.

Bake the Crisp

  • Place dish in oven. Bake for 30–35 minutes until top is golden brown and apples are soft.

Cool Slightly

  • Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. This helps the crisp set properly.
