Ingredients
  

For the Meatloaf:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

For the BBQ Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce your favorite brand
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Prepare Meat Mixture

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, eggs, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

Mix Well

  • Mix all ingredients until fully combined without overworking the meat.

Shape in Pan

  • Transfer mixture to loaf pan and shape into a loaf.

Prepare BBQ Glaze

  • In a small bowl, mix barbecue sauce, brown sugar and mustard.

Spread Glaze

  • Spread the barbecue mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake

  • Bake for 55–60 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Rest

  • Allow meatloaf to rest 10 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.

Slice and Serve

  • Cut into thick slices and serve with your favorite sides.
