Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets chopped
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1/2 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup raisins or dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or chopped almonds

Instructions
 

Prepare Broccoli

  • Wash and chop broccoli into small bite-sized pieces.

Cook Bacon

  • Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble into small pieces.

Mix Salad Base

  • In a large bowl, combine broccoli, bacon, red onion, cheese and raisins.

Make Dressing

  • In a small bowl, whisk mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper.

Combine

  • Pour dressing over broccoli mixture and toss well to coat evenly.

Chill
