Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked chicken shredded or cubed
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Broccoli

  • Steam broccoli florets for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender. Drain well.

Arrange Chicken and Broccoli

  • Place broccoli in the baking dish. Spread cooked chicken evenly on top.

Make the Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, salt and black pepper.

Add Cheese

  • Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.

Spread Sauce

  • Pour sauce mixture over the chicken and broccoli. Spread evenly.

Add Topping

  • In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle over casserole.

Add Remaining Cheese

  • Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top.

Bake

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly.

Serve

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for lighter option.
  • Add a pinch of paprika for color and flavor.
  • Use mozzarella or Swiss cheese for a different taste.
  • Add cooked rice at the bottom for a complete meal.
  • Do not overcook broccoli to keep texture fresh.
