Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds shrimp peeled or shell-on
  • 1 pound smoked sausage sliced
  • 6 small potatoes
  • 4 ears corn cut in half
  • 1 large onion quartered
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 4 tablespoons seafood boil seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • Water as needed

Instructions
 

Boil the water

  • Fill a large stock pot with water. Add seafood seasoning, salt, onion and lemon slices.

Cook the potatoes

  • Add potatoes to boiling water. Cook for about 10 minutes until slightly tender.

Add the sausage

  • Add sliced sausage to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the corn

  • Place corn pieces into the pot. Cook for another 5 minutes until tender.

Add the shrimp

  • Add shrimp last because they cook quickly. Cook for 2–3 minutes until pink.

Drain everything

  • Carefully drain the pot using a strainer basket or colander.

Season if needed

  • Taste and sprinkle extra seasoning or melted butter if desired.

Serve immediately

  • Spread everything on a large tray or newspaper-lined table for a fun serving style.
