Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 20 oz crushed pineapple (with juice)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

Preheat oven

  • Set oven to 180°C and grease a baking dish.

Mix pineapple and sugar

  • In a bowl, combine crushed pineapple and sugar.

Add eggs

  • Whisk in eggs until smooth.

Add dry ingredients

  • Stir in flour and salt.

Add butter and vanilla

  • Mix in melted butter and vanilla extract.

Pour batter

  • Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.

Bake

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden on top.

Check doneness

  • Insert a toothpick. It should come out clean.

Cool slightly

  • Let it rest for a few minutes.

Serve warm

  • Serve warm and enjoy.

  • Use fresh pineapple if preferred
  • Do not drain the juice
  • Add coconut for tropical flavor
