  • 200 g udon noodles fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 medium carrot thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 100 g broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 green onion chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the noodles

  • Boil udon noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking.

Heat the skillet

  • Place a wok or large skillet on high heat. Add vegetable oil and swirl to coat.

Sauté garlic and onion

  • Add minced garlic and sliced onion. Stir-fry for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Add carrots and broccoli

  • Add sliced carrot and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly tender.

Add bell pepper

  • Add bell pepper slices. Cook for 1–2 minutes to keep them crisp.

Add cooked udon noodles

  • Gently add noodles to the skillet. Stir well to combine with vegetables.

Add sauces

  • Pour soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil over noodles. Mix everything evenly.

Season with black pepper

  • Add black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Garnish
