Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup low-fat yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • ½ cup water or milk
  • 1 –2 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Instructions

Wash the Fruit

  • Wash strawberries under clean water. Pat them dry. Peel the banana and cut it into small pieces.

Add Strawberries to Blender

  • Place the fresh or frozen strawberries into the blender jar. Push them down gently.

Add Banana Pieces

  • Drop the banana slices into the blender. Spread them evenly over the strawberries.

Add Yogurt

  • Scoop yogurt into the blender. This makes your smoothie thick and creamy.

Add Liquid

  • Pour water or milk into the blender. This helps the smoothie blend smoothly.

Add Sweetener

  • Add sugar or honey. Adjust the amount based on your sweetness taste.

Add Ice Cubes

  • Add ice cubes to the blender. This makes the smoothie cold and refreshing.

Blend the Smoothie

  • Blend everything for 30–40 seconds. Mix until the smoothie looks smooth and creamy.

Check the Texture

  • If the smoothie is thick, add a little water. Blend again until you get your favorite texture.

Serve Fresh

  • Pour the smoothie into glasses. Serve immediately for the best taste.

Notes

  • Use frozen strawberries for a thicker smoothie.
  • Add more banana if you want extra creaminess.
  • Use Greek yogurt for more protein and thickness.
  • Skip the sugar if you want a healthier smoothie.
  • Add a few blueberries for a mixed-berry flavor.
  • Add a spoon of chia seeds or flaxseed for fiber.
  • Replace water with orange juice for a tropical twist.
