  • 1 cup diced cooked ham or turkey
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Vegetables

  • Wash all vegetables. Chop celery and green onions. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Keep them in a bowl.

Cube the Cheese

  • Cut cheddar cheese into small cubes. Make all pieces the same size.

Dice the Ham

  • Cut cooked ham or turkey into small pieces. This adds flavor and protein.

Make the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.

Combine Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, add cheese, ham, celery, green onions, and tomatoes. Mix gently.

Add Dressing

  • Pour the dressing over the salad. Mix well until all pieces are coated.

Chill the Salad

  • Cover with plastic wrap. Keep in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top. Serve cold for the best taste.

Notes

  • Use Colby or Monterey Jack cheese for a different taste.
  • Add chopped bell peppers for more color and crunch.
  • Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter salad.
  • Make the salad the day before for richer flavor.
  • Serve in a clear bowl to show the colorful layers.
