Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 apple peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

Prepare Cranberries

  • Wash fresh cranberries and remove any soft berries.

Prepare Apple

  • Peel and dice the apple into small pieces.

Combine Ingredients

  • Add cranberries, apple, raisins, orange juice, sugar, vinegar and spices to a saucepan.

Start Cooking

  • Cook over medium heat and stir occasionally.

Simmer

  • Let the mixture simmer for 20 minutes until cranberries burst.

Add Pecans

  • Stir in chopped pecans during the final few minutes.

Cool

  • Remove from heat and let chutney cool completely.

Serve
